APL hires Guy Sansom to head up Transportation team

AssuredPartners London (APL), the UK division of leading US broker AssuredPartners (AP), has hired Guy Sansom as Divisional Director to head up its Transportation team in London. AP has built a significant Transportation presence in the US, and the recruitment of Mr. Sansom is part of a drive to build a thriving Transportation platform in London.

Mr. Sansom has more than 30 years’ experience working in the North American market as well as working on a global scale with clients in Bermuda and Europe. He joins from Lonsdale Insurance Brokers, where he was Managing Director of the North American Division. He has previously held senior positions for a number of companies, including Jardine Lloyd Thompson, where he was partner, Price Forbes & Partners and Heath Lambert. Also joining APL as a broker is Adam Sansom, who held the same position at Lonsdale Insurance Brokers.
